Australia Post has withdrawn from sale and is conducting a voluntary recall of Nice & Nifty Deluxe Animal Night Lights. Please see the recall notice below.
What’s happened?
The recall is due to the button battery compartment of the ‘try me’ button in the packaging of the product. It may not be adequately secured and the button batteries may be easily accessible. If young children gain access to the button batteries and ingest them, they may suffer internal burn injuries, which can result in serious illness and even death. In addition, the batteries may pose a choking hazard to young children.
What do I need to do?
Firstly, if this product, packaging or the ‘try me’ button is in use, remove from a child’s reach and relocate to a safe place.
At the customer’s choice, you can:
- immediately and carefully dispose of any packaging from the product (including the ‘try me’ button) and retain the product, or
- return this product to any Australia Post Outlet for a full refund.
