Our quality assurance guarantee

We'll make sure your ID photos meet Australian Government requirements and International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) standards. If it's not accepted, we'll take another set of ID photos for you for free.2

We note that most authorities require a photo that is less than 6 months old.

1 Digital iD™ is offered at selected participating Post Offices.

Privacy notice: Australia Post collects, uses and stores your personal information as part of the ID Photos - Emailed Digital Copy service. This service allows Australia Post to provide a hard copy passport photograph as well as a digital passport photograph to a specified email address. Without this information, Australia Post will be unable to provide you with this service. For this purpose, you hereby consent to your personal information being disclosed by Australia Post to any third parties involved in the service. Subject to certain exceptions allowed by law, you may request access to your personal information while it is stored by Australia Post. We will give you reasons where we deny access.
