At 30 June 2024, women represented 36.3% of our total workforce and 36.6% of our direct employee workforce. We had 36.6% female senior managers.
We are proud that 3.0% of our workforce identify as Indigenous (at 30 June 2024); and actively encourage further team members to self-identify and join our Mob@Post community.
LGBTQIA+
We proudly welcome and support people of any sexual orientation, gender identity or intersex status. Some of our achievements include PostPride, network growth and sponsorship.
At 30 June 2024, 32.3% of our workforce were from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Our workforce is made up of people from 143 nations and in 2024 we were proud to launch our 2024-2027 Refugee Employment and Engagement Action Plan.
People living with disability
Within our workforce, at 30 June 2024, 6.2% of team members identified as living with disability.
Zero injuries, zero harm and zero tolerance for unsafe acts and workplaces. This is our benchmark. To achieve this, we have comprehensive safety policies and management plans in place to make sure everybody’s covered.
Specialised training programs have been trialled to teach posties how to read a dog's body language and safely manage canine encounters.
As a result, our posties have changed the way they interact with dogs.
